Precious and semi-precious minerals
The precious and semi-precious minerals collection in the geoscience museum of Mashhad is one of the most popular sections, especially for foreign visitors and tourists.
As you know, Mashhad has been known as the world craft city for gemstones since 2016. In this section, gems and their rough gemstones is displayed in 23 showcases. It is noteworthy that in addition to cut gems and jewelry, their raw stones are also displayed so that the visitor can learn about the art of cutting precious and semi-precious minerals and rocks and also jewelry designing.
